Belt plate (bronze)

A belt plate of oval sub-rectanguar shape with an image of a lynx and an argali. The centeral element of the image is a stylized tree with branches showing a lynx ready for jumping (the animal has ears with tufts which are typical for this cat predator). The lynx is shown full-face in the upper part of the plate, all four of its paws cling to the branches of a tree, the body of the animal is hidden in the branches of this tree. At the bottom of the plate under the tree is an argali. His head with steeply curved horns is made full-face and placed in the middle of the trunk shown in profile. The legs of the argali are bent under the body, connecting with the bottom frame of the plate. All details of the image are clearly treated.

The plate is an element of clothes.

It was found in a burial of a woman. The age of the woman is about 50. The plate was located under left forearm, closer to the hand, face down; it was attached to a wooden base (not remained).
